Digital cameras use modern science technology to give unique outputs. The light field is a function that describes the amount of light traveling in every direction through every point in space. Light fields are a fundamental representation for light. As such, there are as many ways of creating light fields as there are computer programs capable of creating images or instruments capable of capturing them. Devices for capturing light fields photographically may include a moving handheld camera like the digital camera or a handy cam. Applications of light field photography include the 3D display of images. Companies that provide freeway camera images use light field photogrphay to capture and display 3D maps and routes to destinations. Video cameras offer the option of video editing with the help of certain softwares. Another type of self capturing picture camera is the hidden cam which focuses pictures manually without the help of a user.
